In celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Al Masaood successfully hosted its annual Corporate Iftar event last May 12, 2019 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Abu Dhabi. In the presence of Al Masaood board members, this year's event saw the attendance of the whole Al Masaood family, comprising of over 1,500 employees coming from various departments. The event also featured the pioneering edition of the Al Masaood Stars awards, a program aimed at giving due recognition to the key contributions made by its outstanding employees. The annual Iftar is hosted to help strengthen employee ties, build a warm and healthy work environment and promote a culture of leadership and motivation.

The awards categories at this year’s event included: New Employee of the Year; Best Team of the Year; Leader of the Year; Innovative Employee of the Year; Best Sales Achiever of the Year; Best Sales Leader of the Year; Best Support Employee of the Year; Best Support Department of the Year; Best Performing Business of the Year. In addition, a special raffle draw for numerous prizes provided by Al Masaood was also a highlight of the event.
