Al Masaood Group Awarded Platinum Partner Status by Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE)

Thursday, 12 March 2020

Al Masaood Group has been recently awarded the ‘Platinum Partner’ status by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation  (MOHRE) - the highest category for a Tawteen Partner company, in recognition of our commitment and efforts to further the Emiratisation agenda.

Becoming a platinum partner of MOHRE will have manifold benefits for the organisation as it significantly boosts its ‘In-Country Value (ICV)’ score - ICV is a program that has been launched with the objective of growing and diversifying the UAE's economy and creating opportunities for Emiratis in the private sector. This new status will also extend various opportunities for Al Masaood, such as the ability to expand its workforce with lower associated costs and fees e.g. employment visa fees, and will facilitate enhanced collaborations with the Ministries and Government Authorities in terms of business development.

Meiraj Hussain, Al Masaood Group Head of HR commented: "Receiving this award and Al Masaood's move up from Gold status to Platinum with 7% Emiratisation is an achievement we are highly proud of. We worked hard throughout 2018 and 2019. This award is a reflection of the Board and Leadership teams’ commitment to support and further the Emiritisation agenda as established by the government for the private sector. Al Masaood remains committed and supportive of the Governments initiative to drive further employment of Emirati’s in the private sector and this continues to be a key objective for the Al Masaood leadership team and the HR department. We have a progressive and welcoming work environment, excellent training and development opportunities and a committed and supportive HR and management team."

Al Masaood’s Emiratisation program comprises four main pillars: the Internship program, the Functional Training program, the Scholarship program, and Job opportunities; which all aim to enhance the skills of university students, fresh graduates, and experienced Emiratis, and equip them with the required competencies across business units and corporate support departments.
