For the 5th consecutive year, Al Masaood Group is sponsoring the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, an iconic world-class event that takes place in the heart of our Capital. Taking place from the 14th-19th of November at the Jiu-Jitsu Arena, in Zayed Sports City, the championship will witness over 2,000 athletes from all over the world.
Al Masaood’s role in the upcoming competition reflects its continuous commitment of giving back to the youth and community by aligning itself with the vision of the nation. As the 2021 championship’s gold partner, it aims to build a solid and lasting relationships with the local sports communities to promote sports as a way of life. It also aspires to make Abu Dhabi a world-class venue for major international sporting events. This year the event will feature more than 2,000 athletes from all over the world.
Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed, a member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office, attended the opening ceremony of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship that took place on 11 November. Our Vice Chairman, Ahmed Rahma Al Masaood, and our Chief Executive of Government Affairs, Ahmed Salmeen, were also present at the opening ceremony.
