This year’s World Maritime Day 2022, under the theme 'New technologies for greener shipping', aims to reflect on the need and importance of transitioning the maritime sector in becoming more sustainable.
With the introduction of Shams+, the UAE’s first built solar charging solution for hybrid marine vessels, Al Masaood Power Division looks to accelerate the decarbonization of the global transportation and maritime communities. Through its off-grid high power solution technologies, this allows for better flexibility and easier installation in various urban and rural locations, including agricultural areas, as well as in marine ports and hubs.
