Al Masaood Power Division Marks World Environment Week with Terrarium Workshop and Pledge Tree

On Tuesday, 3rd June, Al Masaood Power Division marked World Environment Week with an engaging employee activation at the ICAD II Reception. The event included a Terrarium Planting Workshop, where employees came together to build their own mini plant arrangements using sustainable and reusable materials. The hands-on session provided a relaxing break from the workday and encouraged a moment of reflection on how small, mindful actions can contribute to environmental wellbeing.
As part of the activation, a Pledge Tree was also set up, giving employees the opportunity to write down and display their personal commitments to the environment. From reducing plastic use to conserving energy, the pledges were a simple yet powerful reminder of the role each of us can play in supporting sustainability, both at work and in our daily lives.
This initiative offered a practical way to engage with World Environment Week, highlighting the Division’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and employee involvement through approachable and meaningful activities.
