As part of Nissan’s ongoing regional campaign against counterfeit automotive components, the Aftersales team at Al Masaood Automobiles took part in an engaging 'Escape Room' activation focused on highlighting the importance of using genuine spare parts.
Attended by myself, Mohammed Abdo (GM – Parts), and Rimoun Hanouch (GM – Service), the experience challenged participants to identify authentic parts and reinforced the critical role of intellectual property protection in the automotive sector. The interactive format served a serious purpose: educating stakeholders on the safety risks posed by counterfeit products, which continue to threaten drivers, passengers, and road users alike.
This initiative is one of several under Nissan’s broader awareness campaign, which includes educational workshops, exhibitions, and seminars aimed at informing both the public and industry players about the dangers of counterfeit components and the value of genuine alternatives.
Strengthening this commitment, Nissan recently signed an MoU with the UAE Ministry of Economy, represented by H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Muaini, Undersecretary of the Ministry. The agreement reinforces the collective goal of upholding intellectual property rights and promoting safety, compliance, and brand trust.
At Al Masaood Automobiles, we fully support such collaborations that advance industry standards, protect our customers, and reaffirm the authenticity and reliability of every product we offer.
