Al Masaood Vice Chairman pays tribute to UAE women during Emirati Women’s Day

On behalf of Al Masaood Group, we join the whole nation in congratulating all Emirati women on the occasion of Emirati Women's Day, which falls on August 28th. This year the celebration is held under the theme: ‘Preparing For The Next 50 Years: Women Are The Support Of The Nation.’ Emirati women, both in the present and past, have exemplified different stories of success and progress; all being able to achieve prosperity across various fields and international levels.
During this auspicious occasion, the whole country presents its sincerest appreciation and respect to all Emirati women who have demonstrated sheer determination and perseverance to overcome the challenges and difficulties to reach their set goals and objectives.
We extend our thanks and gratitude to the country's wise leadership, particularly towards their views on women empowerment, and for recognizing Emirati women as key partners in creating this nation's future. We commend the wise leadership for presenting a global model that is worth emulating in terms of women empowerment and in consolidating their roles as a true partner in the promotion of the UAE's continuing growth and development.
In line with this, we also extend our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the 'Mother of the Nation,' Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood; who shines out as a true example of the ideal Emirati woman, especially in terms of sacrifice and giving. The triumphs and achievements of Emirati women across various sectors are best embodied in the vision of the UAE's founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who once said, ‘I hope that the women in my country will follow their sisters in those countries which have previously made the adjustment to the procession of progress and development.’
